🌳 Senior Day in the Park

We will be joined by special guests from the City of Detroit and private organizations to discuss key topics impacting our community. This year’s focus will center on matters important to everyone in our neighborhood—homeowners, renters, businesses, and our youth. We’ll explore how each of us can play a role in improving quality of life for ourselves and our families, while empowering our youth to actively participate in shaping the future of our community.

Topics will include housing and food access, neighborhood safety and security, the effectiveness of public services, the impact of today’s technology, and the importance of engaging and uplifting the next generation.

We campaigned to “Take Back the Block,” focusing on establishing a unified voice and addressing blight and beautification. Now, it’s time to get involved and help our neighborhood “Rise Higher”—and define what improving our quality of life truly means.

Please share this event on social media and invite your neighbors. This is one community meeting you don’t want to miss—it’s a movement to build, beautify, and bring our neighborhood together.

Be there. Bring a neighbor. Let’s grow together. 💙
